Nice Lounge Find. The barkeep was super happy and a friendly soul. Awesome happy hour app discounts. Nice crispy wings. More wings than legs though. Very good hot sauce with just the right amount of heat and a nice tang. Good bleu cheese and just the right amount of celery and carrots, which were very fresh. Excellent selection of draft beer. The only place I have found in CT with Carlsberg Pilsner. Although it was just a bit on the flat side. Nice lively locals crowd. Front lot fills up quick but there is more in the rear.
Great food, friendly people, great atmosphere!! My food is always great. The restrooms are always clean (they offer paper towel which i prefer over the hand dryers). I come from South Windsor, not that it's super far, but i definitely pass MANY pizza restaurants to come to Pepes. The pizza is my absolute favorite in the area Great sauce, perfect amount of cheese and toppings without being super greasy, with thick crust. I definitely recommend Pepes Restaurant.
My wife and I make it a point to get out, grab a beer, wings and catch up every Thursday. This is the spot. Staff is always on point, wings always fresh to order and tap beer ice cold. Love the place. If there were a con...bar area could use a little sprucing up but that certainly isn’t going to stop us from coming in.
Awesome local pizza place with a bar side as well. Very comfortable family atmosphere on one side. Fun side to grab drinks and a bite with friends. I had a supreme pizza. It was awesome. Great Greek style pizza. Excellent sauce flavor! You really can’t go wrong here!
Great spot for a quick bite or just to hang out. Folks are pretty mellow, and vibe is pretty welcoming for a first timer. Mac&Cheese is good, Pizza too! Can't wait to try the grinders!
The clam chowder (not pictured) here was top notch and super hearty. Linguine Genoese (pictured) was amazing! You will bring a box home full of food. Local craft beer selection is amazing! The vibe here is very welcoming and local, the lounge is always full of folks that are in a great mood and there’s a separate restaurant seating area if you prefer a more low key environment.
I had a couple of hours of idle time yesterday (1:15pm) and decided to stop somewhere I’ve never been before and was pleasantly surprised with my stop at Pepe’s Restaurant & Lounge. Relaxed atmosphere with a true local touch. Plenty of room at the bar and the bartender/server (Tom) made me feel right at home. I ordered the New England Clam Chowder and can say it’s definitely one of the best tasting ones in a long time. Their award winning wings were delicious. Will need to come back and try some of the other menu items. So glad I made the stop.
My buddy Jason works here and he always makes the best salads, the owner is super nice, and everytime I come in the guys in the back are awesome. If you haven’t tried their wings you should!
